Notes on nominations:

Each participant may nominate up to 6 fandoms with 1-10 characters/relationships in each, plus 20 AUs as freeforms.

Do not nominate 'All Media Types' fandoms.
- Please be as specific as possible to avoid confusion.
- If your fandom's most fitting tag is an 'All Media Types' fandom, please comment here to discuss.

Character and Relationship Tags:
- Characters and groups all go in the Characters slots
- Single character format: Character Name (e.g. Natasha Romanov)
- Gen ship format: Group: Character 1 & Character 2 (e.g. Group: Brienne of Tarth & Sansa Stark)
- Romantic/sexual ship format: Group: Character 1/Character 2 (e.g. Group: Amilyn Holdo/Leia Organa)

Star Wars
- Star Wars should be split into Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, Star Wars Original Trilogy, Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), and then individual properties (e.g. Star Wars: Rebels, etc.). If in doubt, please ask!
- TCW: please nominate as "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types" (please do not use All Media Types for anything else)
- In-universe SW crossovers (e.g. Mace Windu/Thrawn, not Mace Windu/Steve Rogers): I'm happy for you to nominate those under whichever SW canon you think fits best, or under Crossover Fandom.

X-Men Movies
- Please nominate both timelines under X-Men (Movieverse).
- Please specify timeline (Original Timeline or Alternate Timeline); add this in brackets, e.g. Scott Summers (OT); Scott Summers (AT); Group: Scott Summers (OT) & Scott Summers (AT).
- Please nominate the Wolverine-specific movies under Wolverine (Movies).
- Please nominate the Deadpool movies under Deadpool (Movieverse).


If you run out of freeform nomination slots, apologies - 20 is the max as determined by AO3. If you have a sock account, please feel free to use it, or comment here with extras you want. Into Classic Series, Modern Series, and separate noms for Big Finish, or by Doctor, or some other configuration?

Star Trek

Should we split by show/era, eg. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine or Star Trek AOS movies? Also, if I wanted to request an AOS timeline version of DS9 canon does ALL: Star Trek AOS fusion AU seem clear or should I come up with a more specific fandom only tag?

Please do split by individual show plus reboot! movies! So, TOS, DS9, etc. separately, plus AOS.

"ALL: Star Trek AOS fusion" seems clear to me as an AU.

So, for example, would "ALL: ST:TOS crossover" be acceptable if one wanted characters from say Harry Potter on the Enterprise interacting with the usual crew?

If you were planning to request HP as the fandom and All: ST:TOS crossover" as the AU: that's fine if you're happy with literally any of the characters from TOS being involved. The only way you would be able to specify your TOS characters in this example would be in your optional details, which your gift creator is not bound to follow - hopefully they would, but optional details are optional.

If you have specific characters in mind, it would be best to nominate those HP and TOS characters as a crossover group (under "Crossover Fandom").

Hopefully that makes sense!

If I want to nominate an AU tag which is a crossover how do I write that? Would it be:

Crossover: Character A (Fandom 1) & Character B (Fandom 2) are brothers

or would it be:

Fdm1Fdm2: Character A & Character B are brothers

...or something else? I've confused myself! lol

You could use Crossover, or you could use Fdm1Fdm2 - I'm totally happy with either, as long as it's clear from the tag which fandoms are involved!

I wondered if you could talk a little bit about the no RPF rule. Most of the RPF I read is some form of AU, from "like our world but bowerbirds" all the way through to "they're all space pirates." Especially given that old RPF is fine, I wondered why RPF of people still alive isn't allowed, and if perhaps you would reconsider that.

Timeloop and Groundhog Day timeloop are not duplicates, imo. Groundhog Day implies a timeloop that is only 1 day, as in the movie it's named after; other timeloops could be much longer (or even shorter).
