• Each fandom needs at least 1 character or relationship and 2 AU tags nominated. Fandoms that don't have this will be removed from the tag set.


• We will not approve 'Original Characters' as a character tag, sorry. We will approve 'Original Characters' as a character tag in a canon if they are appropriate to an AU tag nominated in that canon.

Hmm. That was to go with the AU in which conventionally disabled witches and wizards exist at Hogwarts, in the Order of the Phoenix, etc. (as opposed to those with magically caused disabilities like Mad-Eye Moody or Remus Lupin). And the AU has been approved.

I can't actually provide a canonical witch or wizard who's blind, deaf, in a wheelchair or on crutches, has a genetically based condition, etc., because none exist in canon. That's why I was asking for the AU, where the Original Disabled Characters could work, attend school, etc. side by side with canonical characters in any time or place in the Potterverse.

After some talk, and taking into consideration the nature of the AU we approved, we're allowing the original character nomination.

Also, a recommendation! If it runs next year, worldbuildingex, an exchange dedicated to worldbuilding, may be something you'd enjoy!

I accidentally duplicated one of my nominations and it messed up my signup form! The tag I wanted to nominate is AU: Mundane non-US setting (Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling).

It's all one AU but it looks weird because I tried to condense it into the character limit. But essentially in the episode 2x03, Alec is having a sleeping beauty moment and Magnus attempts waking him up with a kiss which fails. So... what if not only it worked but also triggered an accidental soulbond and this accidental soul bond doesn't affect Alec's canonical soul bond (parabatai) with another character?

But if that counts more as two AUs, I'm okay with "AU: 2x03 Magnus's true love's kiss awakens Alec."

Possible Stupid Question: Can I nominate characters, relationships, and AUs for any fandom in any available space on the form, or do they have to go with the fandom at the top of that section of the form?

It has to go with the fandom for that section, yes! That's how we associate them in the same grouping for being able to be chosen during sign ups.
