1) The Silmarillion and other histories of Middle-Earth - J. R. R. Tolkien: Nerdanel & Sons of Fëanor (Silmarillion) - nominator, I assume you mean all of them, but per the guidelines I want all members spelled out or noted as something like "Any son(s) of Fëanor". If you want a certain selection of the sons, or your gift creator's choice of any of them, please reply! Otherwise, I'll be changing this to "Amras & Amrod & Caranthir & Celegorm & Curufin & Maedhros & Maglor & Nerdanel (Silmarillion)". - RESOLVED

2) Freeform: ALL: Frequency AU - nominator, what exactly did you mean by this? If no response, I'm afraid I'm going to reject this one. - RESOLVED, thanks nominator!

These two look to be the same, unless there are some nuances in the floral world I am not aware of (which is totally likely).

I think technically you can work in a flower shop without being a florist, but I'll have a think about it!

The latter two are not the same

Character turns into a cat reads as character choosing to become cat (whether temporarily or permanently may merit clarification) while Character transformed into cat reads as being transformed by outside forces; not character choice.

Yep, I'll remove one of the first pair but I'd agree with the anon above me: the cat tags read differently in terms of who/what instigated the transformation.

Not the nominator, but Frequency is an quite known old movie where I'm from, where a guy listens at an old radio transmitter in his home and accidentally starts a two-way audio conversation through it with his own long dead father. On the course of the movie, he realizes that he can use this conversation to change the past and undo his father's death by warning him not to go somewhere where he'd die, or something. I think this set up can be easily adapted for AUs in other canons.

It could well be that, and I'm familiar with the film. I just need the nominator to confirm if it's that, or specifically the show that was based on it, or something else, because no one can possibly know their intent with complete certainty except them.

Are "[Thing] AU" and "[Thing] Fusion" the same, or is there a distinction that I'm missing? There are several such pairs:

I definitely agree on the final three (and I'll remove one of each pair), but I'm leaving the AU and Fusion nominations in. I'm not going to try to articulate it without a lot more coffee, but I can see a distinction between the two.
