A few quick queries regarding nominations below!

First nominations queries post here.

The tag set will close for nominations at 20:59 BST on Saturday 25 June. View the countdown here. (It will then reopen, after a brief period for cleanup, to accommodate AU Fest.)


Remember:

1) Do not nominate "All Media Types" or "& Related Fandoms" fandoms without prior discussion (unless it's The Clone Wars or Assassin's Creed). Please be specific!

2) Group nominations need to be in / or & format using character names where they exist; please do not nominate groups by group name or "Character/Everyone" etc. only. (The reason for this is: if you nominate e.g. "The X-Men", technically your gift creator would be obliged to create a work featuring all possible members (and potentially guess if you want gen or ship). Please be specific so everyone understands which characters - and the nature of the relationship between them - should be included in your gift!)

3) All fandoms need to have at least one character, relationship or "Other: Worldbuilding (FandomName)" nominated. At least one tag per fandom will be required by the signup form so fandoms with no tags nominated will not be accepted.

4) If you need any additional freeform nominations, comment here (or email me, or message me on Discord) with your (properly-formatted) freeforms and I'll add them manually.

Nominators: you have until 16:00 BST tomorrow, Tuesday 21 June, to respond; if I don't hear from you (or you don't amend your nomination on AO3), I'll...do whatever I feel like doing at the time. That might be rejecting, that might be amending to something in line with the rules, we'll see!

I actually do need to hear specifically from the nominators in the first few cases (or see the nominations change on AO3). General opinions on Grishaverse nominations welcome.


1) Crossover Fandom: Jason Todd and Bucky Barnes ships - nominator, please amend these to follow the format in the nominations guidelines linked above, e.g. James "Bucky" Barnes (616)/Jason Todd (DCU Comics). If no response, I'll assume 616 for the Marvel characters and DCU Comics for the DC characters. - RESOLVED, thanks nominator

2) DCU (Comics): James "Bucky" Barnes & Cassandra Cain - unless I'm missing something, Bucky doesn't really belong in the DCU. Nominator, please move to Crossover Fandom. If you don't, I'll assume 616 for Bucky and DCU for Cass, reject from DCU and add it manually to Crossover Fandom. - RESOLVED

3) The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (TV): James "Bucky" Barnes & Dora Milaje - nominator, please specify your Dora Milaje members (or amend to something like James "Bucky" Barnes & Any Dora Milaje Member(s)). - RESOLVED

4) Incredibles (Pixar Movies) - nominator, please nominate some characters or ships. Otherwise, per the rules, I'll have to reject. - RESOLVED, no reply so rejected

5) Megamind (2010) - nominator, please nominate some characters or ships. Otherwise, per the rules, I'll have to reject. - RESOLVED, no reply so rejected

6) Mad Dog (Korea TV): Kim Min Joon (Mad Dog) & Everyone - nominator, please specify some characters here. Per the guidelines, "Everyone" will not be approved. - RESOLVED

7) Freeform tag: Character A who was abused as a child is de-aged and is taken care of by an ambiguous Character B - nominator, this needs to either have a fandom attached to it or start will "ALL:". The tag is 97 characters long and each tag can only have 100 characters in it. Please edit so that it fits the correct format and character limit. - RESOLVED

8) Still seeking opinions on Grishaverse! We have nominations with fairly heavy overlap for: The Grisha Trilogy - Leigh Bardugo, The Language of Thorns - Leigh Bardugo and The Lives of Saints - Leigh Bardugo. Should these be combined under e.g. "Grishaverse - Leigh Bardugo", kept separate, etc.? We have Alina, the Darkling, Baghra, Ulla, etc. popping up all over.

I'm a bit confused because I can definitely see that tag in the 2022 tagset and I haven't removed any tags - all the tags starting in some variation of "ALL:" from last year's tagset were imported into this year's and they haven't been touched since. Am I missing something?
