Set it letter writing in canon times, or a modern AU with online dating or penpal services, or a heated exchange in an Edwardian newsheet or YourTube comments or any variant. I don't mind, just all the identity porn and pining and misunderstandings.

Same-sex marriage possible in homophobia-free AU of canon time period: How would you court someone like Psmith? How would Psmith turn his canonically eccentric method of courtship to his own best friend? What if they courted each other? What if the Jacksons had lost their money already but the Smiths hadn't yet and ofc Mike couldn't contemplate being or being seen as a gold digger? What if they didn't know what each other was doing? I love this underrated ship, I love Catherine's devotion and Moira's harshness and that one moment of Catherine snapping back. Convent/Monastery AU: I feel like this one is kind of self-explanatory, with Catherine given full range for martyred saintliness and Moira as one hell of a strict Abbess (or ambitious to be one.)

Hospital AU: Similarly to the Convent AU, I feel like this is a wonderful place for their best and/or worst tendencies to come out. A modern AU hospital, WWII emergency work, a 1950s London children's hospital, or anything else that occurs to you would be great.

You've Got Mail AU: This is a bulletproof trope for me, I just love it so much. Set it letter writing in canon times, or a modern AU with online dating or penpal services, or a heated exchange in a village newsletter or YouTube comments or any variant. My Fair Lady AU
Before she left to study law, Mia was a sheltered village girl, and Diego a hotshot lawyer... I'd love to see something where Diego takes Mia under his wing and determines to turn Mia into a 'real' lawyer! Bonus points if it's apparent that Mia had always had the drive in the first place (just needed some instruction in the norms of a society she's not accustomed to), and if Grossberg and/or Hammond are the ones who bet Diego that he wouldn't succeed in tutoring Mia. I would especially love seeing Grossberg in the Pickering role, basically bankrolling the whole endeavour. If you want to throw someone in to the Freddy role, go nuts! Happy for it to be a canon character, or an OC, just as long as there's, at minimum, clear romantic chemistry between Diego and Mia.

Arranged Marriage AU
I don't care how you make it happen, but I would love to see their reactions to being thrust into an arranged marriage! Did they already have feelings for each other prior? Complicated feelings, perhaps? Maybe part of the arranged marriage has to do with Mia's provisional role as the heir of the Kurain Channelling Technique. They don't need to actually get married, just so long as there's some threat/pressure of marriage!

Ever since I watched this movie back when it first came out, I couldn't help but think how perfect Franziska and Gumshoe would be for the plot. Gumshoe clearly has a lot of respect for Franziska, even though he's terrified of her, and probably thinks she could afford to treat people better... and I can't help but feel like Franziska could really get a lot out of seeing a loving family, even if they do have their conflicts at times. And then there's all the tropes! The green card marriage, the ONE BED, the accidentally seeing each other naked... I'd love that for them.

Being married to each other is a requirement in their line of work:
I'd love to see something where prosecutors are required to marry the detective they work with most closely. Is there some sort of Ace Attorney World legal reason? Is consummation an expectation? How does Franziska feel about getting her little brother's seconds, if this is set during JFA? Whatever way you can make it work, I'm here for it.

I'm a sucker for Loghain. I don't care who you ship him with (the nominations cover most of the possible canon relationships, but feel free to also include his wife, make him a giant polyamorous mess, or simply focus on him and his daughter).

Anyway, there's two distinct themes going on here so I'll break them down.

Bakery/Coffee Shop
One of my favourite things about Mundane AUs is transporting the high-stake emotions of world saving fantasy stuff to theoretically lower stake things. I'd love to see Loghain running a bakery or coffee shop or what have you, especially if it had previously been built by his friends (or potentially more?) Rowan and Maric. He's so loyal, sometimes to the extent of not knowing what's best for him and the country business, and I'd love to see how this shakes out in a mundane setting. Does Anora try to stop her dad from selling the business (to Rendon Howe)? Does Morrigan end up becoming a regular at the cafe? Does Loghain have complicated feelings about the cafe? I'm here for any and all of it, just transport some of the political machinations to the high stake world of small business PLEASE.

Time Travel
Loghain has made a lot of mistakes and I'd love to see him try and fix them somehow. Making things actually better is optional, feel free to emotionally ruin me instead.

Setting AUs
For the mundane stuff, I really like seeing the interactions and emotions of the characters transported into a setting where the stakes aren't quite so high in the grand scheme of things, but are still important to the characters. Regardless of the setting, I'd still like the Andromeda Initiative to exist, and to still collect misfits for whatever purpose, whether that's fighting zombies, or fighting to save their cafe, or fighting to protect the conditions of university employees... Feel free to set it when/where you want, I'm flexible!

Dead No More
Alec, Jien, Sloane, and sort-of-Ellen can all have rather tragic deaths. I'd love to see these deaths averted in any way, and what affect it has on the people around them, whether it's complication free or something goes really wrong in the process. I'm especially fond of story lines where the 'wrongness' is something with the character's personality, or they've lost their memory, but body horror is more than welcome too!
