Not the nominator, but "Marriage Law" in Harry Potter is usually something like "Ministry law requires Muggle-borns and purebloods to marry."

Not the nominator but the marriage law AU is a pretty common HP trope based on a 2003 challenge: https://fanlore.org/wiki/Marriage_Law_Challenge

Thank you but alas I suspect that if I, as a person who sometimes reads HP fic and occasionally ponders requesting it, doesn't know what this is referring to from the tag, it might need clarifying in the tag!

ALL: Non-Consensual Body Modification - that was me! I changed it from something else after a fit of ideas. Simply, the prompts I have in mind would add that to the canon where it didn't happen to those characters before. If it's unfeasible could I change it back to what it was before? "HP: Percy Weasley is a Spy"?

How does "ALL: Like canon but requested characters underwent/undergo non-consensual body modification" grab you?

("HP: Percy Weasley is a spy for the Order of the Phoenix during the war" is already in the tagset, if that's relevant for you?)

Re: Masquerade Ball AU - I have no valid reasoning for nominating this as an AU, I'm afraid, outside of having had quite a week and sleep deprivation. It's obviously not an AU. lol

I know I was going to suggest a kind of AU where masquerade balls are held to find a partner based purely on attraction and conversation, rather than based on social standing or "suitability", but I could think of no better way to abbreviate all that. I quite agree it should just be dropped. *facepalm*

Not the nominator but my first thought was that "fake alpha-ing" is a play on "fake dating," meaning the omega asks a friend who is an alpha to pretend to be "their" alpha in public.

Sorry, I was nominating in a hurry and should have clarified these. For the Blacklist Season 8, I specifically kept it vague because it has only just finished airing and I didn't want to accidentally spoil anyone. Having said that, would the following amendments be appropriate?

Blacklist: Season 8 AU - No Liz Keen revenge plot.

BtVS: Season 7 AU - No Potentials or threat from The First.

HP: Marriage Law AU - Ministry of Magic imposes a law requiring marriage between Muggle-borns and Purebloods.

Nominator here and fake alpha-ing like fake dating, where the alpha and omega pretend to have an intimate relationship for convience reasons. It's a not uncommon paperwork leads to feeling trope in a/b/o (and d/s-verse before it).

I think my original phrasing is because I don't think pretending to be someone's alpha and pretending to be in a romance are always portrayed with total equivalency. Maybe ALL: A/B/O - rules require omega to have an alpha; alpha and omega pretend
