I love this ship, though it is kind of a guilty pleasure due to the age difference. So I’d appreciate if you didn’t make that a Thing (either through time travel or through letting everything be extra Gen and not sexual at all until Naruto’s like, 20). But yeah I still love this ship, so go wild! They’re very cute and both very much angsty, never thinking they’re good enough and always ending up hurting themselves, and I like explorations of all their relationship.

I love love love girl!Naruto. Like, you have no idea. Everything and anything I can get my hands on. Please feel free to use girl!Naruto in each and every AU (or just on its own), cause let me tell you it’ll be a hit with me. I like explorations of how a girl!Naruto doesn’t quite fit into the same role as boy!Naruto, or an exploration of how she really really does and nothing is different. Or the exploration of a Naruto who doesn’t overmuch care about her gender and isn’t like prudish at all and how Kakashi has a hard time coping with that (cause yikes she’s hot Minato will kill him) and all the people around him having the time of their lives (Anko’s regularly dying of laughter) and Naruto just having no clue.

ALL: Canon Character can see ghosts
Maybe Naruto has always been able to see ghosts (and thus knows more about the world than the world imagines he does) and finds in them exasperated caretakers or horrifying terrors around every corner? Or maybe he grows up weirder, accent slightly off though no one knows why, manners weird and sense of style challenged? Or maybe it’s Kakashi who’s always been able to see ghosts, and no one ever believed in right away until Naruto? Or maybe it is Naruto and Kakashi is the one who finally figured it out? I dunno. I like the thought.

ALL: A character was stolen by fairies as a baby
Mainly I imagine Naruto being the one stolen by fairies, given his general situation in life. It could be fun seeing him either found or returned later in life (or maybe he fought his way back? Or fought actually fought the being taken back?) and him just not feeling comfortable in the human world, where things are plain and people too predictable. I love exploring of how this Naruto wouldn’t meet the expectations placed on him, and how the people around him deal with that. I’d also like seeing an exploration of Kakashi being the one to find Naruto, and feeling like he’s familiar but not being able to put his finger on why, and this question not answered driving him absolutely mad, because Kakashi doesn’t like not understanding things. And then the exploration of Kakashi’s angst regarding Naruto being taken in the first place, cause god knows he’d blame himself

All: Immortals AU
Oh man, I like the idea of Kakashi and Naruto being immortal and just going about their days pretending to be normal until they just don’t. I like how horrifying they could be to the people around them, who doesn’t quite know what’s wrong but knows something is, and how still there would always be people who didn’t care and loved them anyway, even if they never aged as they should or died as they were supposed to.

ALL: Character has precognition and limited time travel abilities
Oh man, a Naruto that tries his best but messes up anyway and Kakashi trying his best to help but messing up too? Five times that Naruto saved Kakashi’s life and one time he was saved himself? Maybe Naruto sees all the ways he himself can die (sees which villagers hates him more, sees who imagines him hurt and in pain, learns what neighborhoods not to hang out in after dark) and has to learn to trust and love people again? Angst. Oh man the angst.

Group: Regulus Black/Harry Potter
I love this ship, and the only way it happens is through AUs, so... But yeah, I love an exploration of their relationship and how it is affected by the people around them, Regulus as Sirius' brother and Harry as James and Lily's child. I dunno. Their personalities just seem to go very interstingly together. Also their shared goals in stopping Voldemort makes for an interesting background.

Oh man, I'd love to see a Harry that was stolen by fairies then being discovered by Regulus, who thinks he's quite familliar but can't put his finger on just why. I'd love to see an exploration of how his childhood have made Harry different, too, how his views on the magical and muggle world and people in general is slightly off. Just generally an otherwordly Harry is very fun I think.

For these two AUs I'd definitely love it if Harry was a girl! :P It could also work really well with the Arranged Marriage AU! Generally I love some worldbuilding, the why and the how of how things are different from canon age HP Universe.

Well, the goose thing has crack written all over it (which, i'm fond of crack so...). The marks thing less so, but also has potential. Either way I have no actual prompt, other than I love the trope, I love worldbuilding as it pertains to the trope, and I love the whole falling in love bit and being incredulous as to how the deities in charge decided that their pair was a good idea.

Generally, I'm just really fond of Steve, so basically anything about him makes my day, whether it's focused solely on him or on his relationship with the kids. I like happy things, but I also appreciate some tension and angst before my comfort (as long as there is comfort and not a super sad ending in which case I'll cry) so write what you want! :)

Oh man, I haven't read Sentinels & Guides fics in ages, but I want it. I don't really have a preferance regarding who is the sentinel and who is the guide, but I'd like an exploration of their relationship and how it is affected by the whole sentinel and guide thing. Also maybe an exploration of how it fits in with the HP magical world in general? Maybe it's almost unheard of and more of a muggle world thing, or maybe it's very common but almost unheard of in the muggle world? Oh man, I like the idea of Shikaku and Naruto being immortal and just going about their days pretending to be normal until they just don’t. I like how horrifying they could be to the people around them, who doesn’t quite know what’s wrong but knows something is, and how still there would always be people who didn’t care and loved them anyway, even if they never aged as they should or died as they were supposed to. I like seeing Shikaku’s methodical and intellectual approach to life as an immortal and Naruto just winging it, making waves all the time, being remembered by old ladies from old villages who hand give him food cause they remember something from long ago about a nice young man who made sure that their crops were taken care of when half the village got sick.
I also like seeing you as the writer try and make sense of the whole thing, like, how did they come to be in Konoha? What about their families? How? But also you could just ignore it and everything Konoha Canon and just go for it.

I think the easiest character to be aware of the fourth wall and mercilessly use it to tease the audience is Root, but there's a case to be made for any of the other members of Team Machine to make it work. (Harold, perhaps, knows and snarks more than he lets on?)

In this particular setting, where possible, I think it would be good to see Person of Interest fanfiction, as written by the character, an online message board that a character has infiltrated to mess with the fans, or some other way of making the interaction more explicit. But if you can tell a narrative with an aware character and do a story, that would be great as well.

(Hardison and Eliot can secretly be fans of what supposedly was a show. but they'd never admit to it, and least of all to each other.)

Gen or relationship, your choice as to how the three relate to each other, and use whichever other characters from the setting that you need to make it work.

Feel free to extrapolate or tell history of how things went from there. Or how things are going to go from whichever point you want to start with. I'm not the fondest of the way the Fall Maiden storyline turned out, because it seems a waste of a Pyrrha, so feel free to adjust that as well.

(If you've got a great idea for worldbuilding in RWBY that fits the AU tags as well, then go ahead and go with that. I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it.)

(I can entirely imagine Jake, Fred, and George being in the same class and all of them playing off each other's jokester tendencies in Holt's class, to hilarious effect.)

Harry Potter: The Nine-Nine as usual, except as Aurors for the Wizarding World. Add magic to everybody's innate personalities and working styles, and let them go on casefic together. Or Holt trying to manage the Nine-Nine with Potterverse magic. Possibly with a couple somethings about wanting to use Unforgivables to try and establish some sort of order in the precinct.

But, what I might have envisioned for this type of story is that Hermione and Ginny and Luna are laying the groundwork, early on, for Neville (who has generally still been low-key, despite being a Boy-Who-Lived, so Harry can stlll get all the attention as one, too, or for some other incident that captures the attention of the Wizarding World.) to have a smoother, more successful path once it comes time to stop reacting to and denying the existence of the return of He-Who-Would-Not-Be-Named and starting to take the fight to him and destroy his bases of power, and that they're starting earlier on, because Neville believes them and is trying to help support them.

(Other stories are good, too, that fit. But that's what I had in mind when I chose this.)

4. Jurassic World takes place in the 80s and there are also zombies! Blue or Rexy saves Nina's life and she teaches them to chomp on the undead.

5. Jurassic World takes place sometimes after the 80s. Nina survives the woods confrontation in the 90s, with or without her parents also surviving. As an adult, she goes to that island and frees the fuck out of the dinosaurs.

6. Jurassic World takes place in the 80s and young Nina sneaks over to the island and frees the fuck out of the dinosaurs.

I've always thought it was a shame Nina and Jean never got the chance to meet in canon. I think they'd have a lot in common. Jean is an outcast due to her powers, and imo Nina would be much the same if she spends all her time playing with her animal friends + can't control her powers when she gets angry enough. I love the idea of them banding together in whatever outlandish AU.

Maybe they're the only two living people they know of in a zombie AU. Maybe Jean is Nina's mentor in the Hunger Games, and they fall in love prior to Nina's Games, and against all odds she survives. (Or maybe they're in the Games together and Jean dies, Nina lives, and Jean is resurrected as the Phoenix and fucks the Capitol's shit up.) Or maybe they're in a marriage of convenience for whatever reason and have both heard all sorts of offputting things about each other, but it turns out they really like each other. (As a note, I think fpreg is awesome, so I would be totally fine with either of them having the other's baby in this AU in particular.)

Or maybe they were in love in their first life and keep missing each other in some of their other reincarnations because either Nina dies too soon or Jean does. Or maybe they find out they're soulmates and have to learn to live together even though Jean has terrible nightmares and comments on all of Nina's thoughts & Nina keeps insisting they let pigeons in the house. Or maybe that whole thing about soulmates except with an angry goose, which Nina argues with a lot about how she definitely doesn't want the soulmate it has just herded toward her!!! (and then she and the goose end up as BFFs as she and Jean fall in love).

Or maybe there's a time traveler's wife thing going on where one of them is an inadvertent time traveler who keeps traveling back to see the other at various points in her life. Or maybe a western/wild west AU where they are bandits or something and commit bank robberies together (or maybe one where Jean is a bandit and Nina is a sheriff or a bounty hunter or something and makes Jean's horse throw her and tries to take her back to town, and Jean goes along with it because she can get away any time with her telepathy, and then they have sex in front of a bonfire and run away together. Or you know. Something like that).

I do prefer Jean being at least a couple of years older, but up to you if their age gap is as extreme as in canon (where I'd put Jean as 8-10 years older).

If you're artist, anything that looks like it could be a scene out of any of my listed AUs would be fantastic!

Or maybe Charles dies, and Logan maybe does too (or maybe not! up to you!)...and then Charles pulls the same thing he did at the end of X3 somehow and follows the kids(/maybe Logan) into Canada in his new ethically-dubious body.

Or maybe a story about everyone living & then having to adjust to having a semi-normal life again...and Logan's never really had one, and Nina DEFINITELY hasn't, so it would probably be hard.

I would be okay with something plotty or angsty, but also with 1000 words of fluffy(ish) bonding.

More general things: I have a strong opinion about the timeline Logan occurs in, which is that the timeline split somehow after X2-X3. In one branch, the Sentinels came and Logan was sent back in time to fix things; in the other branch, the one in which the movie Logan occurs, the end for mutants comes more quietly, in the food and in the water, and so they never have the chance for big time traveling gestures. I also have a lot of feelings about how hopeful Logan was as a movie. I went in expecting something bleak and awful all the way through...and then after Charles' death we found out Laura wasn't the only survivor of the lab in Mexico, and then she and her friends MAKE IT to Canada, and oh, my heart.

If you're an artist, a scene that shows Charles in one of the scenes after he died would be cool! Like maybe Logan carrying him through the woods at the end, or all three of them together in Laura's friends' hideout. Or something showing Laura and Logan and/or Charles cleaned up and happy somewhere in Canada. Anything along those lines would be awesome!
