Basically: the difference between an AU and a fusion here is a bit of a grey area, and different people are going to have quite different definitions. The exchange purposely doesn't try to define the terms, given how difficult it is to come to an agreement, and I try not to police the way people nominate AU tags too closely.
My personal opinion (very broadly speaking) would be that "Westworld AU" is the characters of the requested canon inhabit the Westworld universe without (at least most of) the Westworld characters existing there; "Westworld (TV) fusion" would be the two canons fused together, likely with characters from each universe involved. But again, that's just my opinion and I'm not going to impose it.
And I've fixed the crossover tag. AU where Xenk's name is Yonder? Probably not...
