Nominations questions & notes
A few quick queries regarding nominations below!
You can find the tagset here.
The tag set will close for nominations at 20:59 BST on Saturday 26 June. View the countdown here. (It will then reopen, after a brief period for cleanup, to accommodate AU Fest.)
Remember:
1) Do not nominate "All Media Types" or "& Related Fandoms" fandoms without prior discussion (unless it's The Clone Wars or Assassin's Creed). Please be specific!
2) Group nominations need to be in / or & format using character names where they exist; please do not nominate groups by group name only. (The reason for this is: if you nominate e.g. "The X-Men", technically your gift creator would be obliged to create a work featuring all of them. Please be specific so everyone understands which characters - and the nature of the relationship between them - should be included in your gift!)
3) All fandoms need to have at least one character, relationship or "Other: Worldbuilding (FandomName)" nominated. At least one tag per fandom will be required by the signup form so fandoms with no tags nominated will not be accepted.
4) If you need any additional freeform nominations, comment here (or email me, or message me on Discord) with your (properly-formatted) freeforms and I'll add them manually.
If you spot any duplicates or have any queries, please comment here.

1) Crossover Fandom: Harry Dresden (The Dresden Files) & Harry Potter (Harry Potter) - nominator, I'm happy for Harry Potter to go through like this but the Dresden Files have pretty big differences between the books and TV show. Which do you prefer? If no response by 23:30 tomorrow, Sunday 20 June, I'll choose the books. - RESOLVED - thanks, nominator!
2) Dragonriders of Pern - Anne McCaffrey: Original dragon riders (Dragonriders of Pern) - original characters are fine, but they need to be in a / or & relationship format rather than a group like this and an indication of the number would be good at the very least. If no response by 23:30 tomorrow, Sunday 20 June, I'll change this to Original Dragon Rider & Original Dragon Rider. - RESOLVED - thanks, nominator!
3) Marvel 616: The Hellions (Chris Claremont era) AND The New Mutants (Chris Claremont era) - I'm fine with the era being stated but could the nominator please specify particular characters from each group (including / or & relationships)? If no response by 23:30 tomorrow, Sunday 20 June, I'll reject. - RESOLVED - thanks, nominator!
4) Shaman King (Anime & Manga): Asakura Hao & Asakura Family - nominator, could you please amend to specify which members of the Asakura family you want? If no response by 23:30 tomorrow, Sunday 20 June, I'll reject. - RESOLVED - rejected per post.
5) Avatar: Legend of Korra - no characters or relationships are nominated in this fandom. Nominator, please specify some characters or ships! (It's not possible to request a fandom without at least one character, ship, or worldbuilding tag.) If no response by 23:30 tomorrow, Sunday 20 June, I'll reject. - RESOLVED - rejected per post.
6) The Eagle | The Eagle of the Ninth - All Media Types - per the rules, I'm not accepting All Media Types nominations without prior discussion. Nominator, do you want the film or the book? If no response by 23:30 tomorrow, Sunday 20 June, I'll change to the book. - RESOLVED - changed to the book per post.
7) MCU - if your MCU nomination has been rejected...it's actually just been added to a subfandom instead so it's just somewhere else in the tagset. Per the franchise section of the nominations guidelines, "Marvel Cinematic Universe" should only be used for in-universe crossovers and characters who never meet in their subfranchise.

If you want more than one group member, you need to specify a type of relationship by using a / or & in there - "Creator's choice of [group] member & Creator's choice of [group] member" would work if you want a gen relationship, and substitute a / for romantic/sexual.
Likewise, if there's a canon character in the tag, "Character Name & Creator's choice of [group] member" also works (or with a /).
Hopefully that explains!

New Mutants: Wolfsbane & Mirage & Sunspot & Cannonball & Karma & Magma & Magik & Warlock & Cypher
Hellions: Catseye & Tarot & Jetstream & Roulette & Thunderbird

"Cannonball & Cypher & Karma & Magik & Magma & Mirage & Sunspot & Warlock & Wolfsbane (616 Claremont)" would be bang on 100 characters if you want to retain the Claremont element, for example.

thanks for all your hard work! :>

I've removed that tag and re-added as "Lan Wangji/Wei Wuxian (The Untamed TV)" - that should be fixed now.

Also, given the MCU rules, shouldn't Mantis/Peter Quill (Marvel CU) be under Guardians of the Galaxy, and shouldn't Scott Lang/Steve Rogers (Marvel CU) and Sharon Carter/Natasha Romanov (Marvel CU) be under Captain America? If I've misunderstood or am just plain wrong, feel free to ignore me.
Oh, and under Iron Man, you have Jarvis (Iron Man movies)/Tony Stark (Iron Man Movies), which seems to have more words than it really needs - pedantic I know, but since I was commenting anyway ;)

MCU: Mantis/Peter Quill should indeed be under GotG, but I'm (somewhat arbitrarily, I'll admit) counting Civil War as an Avengers movie instead of a Cap movie. I'll see how I feel about "fixing" the overly wordy tag at some point (since there's no way to edit a tag and it's not actually wrong ;) ).
I'll be taking a closer look at MCU and its related subfandoms later in noms, though, so it's something of a work in progress!

I'm with you on Cap3, it really was an Avengers film in a lot of ways, and even though Nat & Sharon were both in Cap2 as well, I'm not sure they interacted, so fair enough. Wordy tag isn't important, I just noticed it and figured I might as well mention while I was here :)
MCU is always a crazy mess in exchanges. I think your idea of splitting it works better than most ways I've seen before. Putting everything all together under the MCU category does work too, in a way, but it just gets SO unwieldly.
